Christmas is coming!!
Well it's getting to be that time of year again and in less than seven days my husband and I will be back home for the holidays. I'm looking forward to some great photo opportunities! But first we must drive to Washington state and back again. Hopefully these last few days will go by fast and tomorrow we will be in Montana. It's such a beautiful state. Last summer I saw the most beautiful sight in Montana; I can't remember where we were but in this field along side the interstate there was an old pickup probably 1950's and wildflowers growing around it. I'm still kicking myself for not stopping and getting that picture. It would have been perfect, the green grass all around, mountains in the background, the wildflowers and this rusty old pickup no tires probably been sitting there for years. Just picture perfect. Well that's getting off the subject of Christmas!! Merry Christmas!!!

Our First Nikon Camera
I've been thinking of doing some phototgraphy for a while now, but haven't had the time to do any. I think I should tell you a little about me. Last year my husband got our first Nikon camera; a D3100 series, and I can't tell you how much better the photos have been. So much more clearer than our Sanyo point and shoot camera. Then one day our Nikon stopped working so we ended up sending it in. We just couldn't seem to be without our camera for a month or so. So we went out and bought another Nikon and of course a 200mm zoom lens! We now both have our own cameras and now he wants a 300mm zoom lens. Which is good because I am starting to want a bigger lens than the 55mm that it came with. I'm also craving a macro lens but not sure what the cons and pros are between the two lens. I'll be uploading some of our better pictures and please remember that we are just beginners. He's gotten quiet good at the manual focus, while I still need some practice. Wish me luck.
